Kafarakis to lead Specialty Food Association

National Restaurant Association executive tapped as New York City group's leader Kafarakis The $28 million-revenue Specialty Food Association has tapped Phil Kafarakis as its next president, the New York City-based organization announced July 21. He replaces Ann Daw, who left in 2015 after leading the group for nearly a decade. Kafarakis most recently was chief innovation and member advancement officer at the National Restaurant Association.
